Accident: After crashing into a traffic island, Marcus Rashford wrecks his £700k Rolls Royce but escapes injury
Rashford, who plays for England on the international stage, had a promising start to his trip, but it was cut short when he was involved in a collision with another vehicle. Rashford and the other driver involved in the accident were able to walk away from the scene of the collision unscathed. Although police officials were called to the scene to manage the wreckage, they did not need to call an ambulance because neither of the drivers sustained any injuries.
After smashing his £700,000 Rolls Royce into the Carrington training field of Manchester United on Saturday night, Marcus Rashford walked away shaken but unharmed. The accident occurred outside of Carrington. After United's 1-0 victory away at Burnley, Erik ten Hag and his players rode the team bus back to Carrington, where they changed into their own vehicles and drove off to their own homes.
A video of the event was shared on social media, in which Rashford's Rolls Royce can be seen to be severely damaged, with pieces of the back bumper ripped off and scattered on the side of the road as the danger lights were flashing. As a result of the incident, a nearby pole that was located on a traffic island was also damaged.
An eyewitness who was filming at the scene stated that Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes was quick to check on his teammate as they were both headed home from the training facility. The eyewitness was being diverted a different route home by police as a result of Rashford's crash, and the witness was filming at the scene.
Other pricey automobiles in Rashford's collection include a Lamborghini Urus Performante that cost £350,000 and a McLaren 765 Long Tail that was purchased for £280,000. Although the collision left Rashford rattled up, he did not sustain any injuries, and it has not been determined whether or not he will be able to participate in the Carabao Cup match against Crystal Palace on Tuesday. The young man, who is only 25 years old, is an obsessive collector of luxury automobiles. He just recently added a third Rolls Royce to his growing fleet of supercars, which was a $560,000 Cullinan Blue Shadow.
