United's success at Burnley with a weakened roster came despite a new injury, Erik ten Hag confirmed

 

The Red Devils were under increasing amounts of pressure, but a magnificent volley from Bruno Fernandes in the first half helped them secure the three points they so desperately needed. It was the Red Devils' third win in the league this season, and more importantly, it broke a losing streak of three games in a row across all competitions. On Saturday, Erik ten Hag conceded that he had no choice but to exclude defender Lisandro Martinez from the team that traveled to Burnley to take on the Clarets.

In spite of this, the Dutch manager will have to deal with an increasing number of players on the injury list in order to prepare his team for this week's two games against Crystal Palace. On Tuesday, United will play host to the Eagles in the League Cup, and then on Saturday, both teams will compete at the same location. Because to injuries, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia, Kobbie Mainoo, Amad Diallo, Mason Mount, and Harry Maguire did not travel to Turf Moor. In the meantime, Jadon Sancho and Antony have been taken off the first team's roster for the time being. However, he still needs to build up his strength. It all depends on the players who are free to participate. We have no choice but to work with the guys who are at our disposal. That way, we won't make a big deal out of it. With the lineup that we bring, we have no choice but to come out on top. "Jonny Evans, who is 35 years old, was chosen by Ten Hag to start opposite Victor Lindelof because Maguire was also not available. After proving his worth in workouts, the seasoned player was offered a contract for a limited time after first joining the club in the summer with the intention of simply keeping up his fitness.

Christian Hopper, NC Central student faces rape, kidnapping charges in connection to on-campus sexual assault
